Dybala Paulo
Paulo Exequiel Dybala is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Argentina national team. Nicknamed “La Joya” (“The Jewel”), Dybala began his senior club career in 2011 playing for Instituto de Córdoba, before signing for Palermo in 2012, at age 18, where he won a Serie B title. In 2015, Dybala signed for Juventus and won five league titles and four Coppas Italia. He was also voted Serie A Most Valuable Player once, was also included in the Serie A Team of the Year four times, and ranks as Juventus’ ninth-highest all-time goalscorer. Dybala made his senior international debut for Argentina in 2015 at age 21, and has since earned over 30 caps, including appearing at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the 2019 Copa América. In the latter, he scored the winning goal to help his nation finish in third place.

This shirt was worn by Paulo Dybala during the Serie A game between Palermo and Sampdoria which took place in Palermo, “Stadio Renzo Barbera”, on August 31st 2014. Palermo draw 1-1 and Dybala scored the team’s goal. At the end of the game Dybala swapped his shirt with a Sampdoria’s player whom we got it from. On 29 April 2012, U.S. Città di Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini announced the signing of Dybala stating, “We have got Paulo Dybala – the new Sergio Agüero.” Later the same day, however, Instituto’s general secretary José Teaux stated that the man who had completed the negotiations with Palermo did not have the mandate to sell Dybala. Nonetheless, on 20 July 2012 Palermo released a press announcement confirming the signing of Dybala, who signed a four-year deal with the Sicilian club. According to the financial filing of the club, the transfer fee was €8.64 million. Dybala made his debut for the club in a Serie A match against Lazio. He scored his first and second goal in Italy on 11 November 2012 when Palermo defeated Sampdoria at home, 2–0. Dybala had his breakthrough season in the 2014–15 Serie A where he scored ten goals in the first half of the season, forming a successful striking partnership with fellow Argentine–Italian Franco Vázquez and being linked with several top European clubs. He finished the season with 13 goals and 10 assists, which made him one of the top assist providers in the league.

In the season 2017/2017 Juventus re-designed its kit with a different take on the trademark white and black stripes in this season. On 26 July 2016, Juventus signing Gonzalo Higuaín became, at the time, the third highest football transfer of all-time and highest ever transfer for an Italian club, when he signed for €90 million from Napoli. Paul Pogba instead returned to his first club, Manchester United, for an all-time record for highest football transfer fee at €105 million, surpassing the former record holder Gareth Bale. On 17 May 2017, Juventus won their 12th Coppa Italia title in a 2–0 win over Lazio, becoming the first team to win three consecutive championships. Four days later on 21 May, following a 3–0 win over Crotone, Juventus secured their sixth consecutive Serie A title, establishing an all-time record of successive triumphs in the competition.

On 4 June 2015, Juventus announced the signing of Dybala on a five-year deal for a fee of €32 million (plus €8 million in add-ons). He was assigned the number 21 shirt, previously worn by Andrea Pirlo, who left the club that summer. Following the departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United in the summer of 2016, Dybala was offered the number 10 jersey by Juventus, although he turned it down, preferring to keep the number 21 jersey that he had worn during his previous season. Following Allegri’s switch to a 4–2–3–1 formation, the 2016–17 season saw Dybala operate in a deeper playmaking role behind the club’s new signing Gonzalo Higuaín, which saw a decrease in his goalscoring output as he took on increasing defensive and creative duties. After struggling to score at the beginning of the season, Dybala scored his first goal of the 2016–17 campaign on 27 September, in a 4–0 away win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. He scored his first Serie A goal of the season that weekend, on 2 October, in a 3–0 away win over Empoli. On 11 April, Dybala scored two goals in Juventus’s first-leg Champions League quarter-final fixture against Barcelona, helping the club to a 3–0 home victory.[41] On 13 April 2017, Dybala renewed his contract with Juventus until 2022. On 3 June, Dybala started in the 2017 Champions League Final, but Juventus were defeated 4–1 by defending champions Real Madrid, missing out on the treble.

This shirt with extra “FIGC 120th Anniversary” badge was only used once by all of the Serie A’s team to celebrate the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio 120th Anniversary. Juventus only used it against Bologna on May 5th 2018. This Dybala shirt was swapped by Dybala with a F.C.Bologna player who we got it from. Dybala scored the third goal in this match with this shirt on.

In the season 2017/2018 Dybala was confirmed to wear the number 10 shirt for Juventus following players like Omar Sivori, Michel Platini, Alessandro Del Piero and Carlos Tevez. Dybala was named one of the three finalists for the Forward of the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League season award. He placed sixth in the 2017 UEFA Best Player of the Year Award. On 26 August, Dybala scored his first hat-trick in Serie A in a 4–2 away win over Genoa. He repeated the feat on 17 September, in his 100th appearance for Juventus, scoring all three goals, including one free-kick, in the club’s 3–1 away win over Sassuolo, marking his second hat-trick in Serie A. On 11 March 2018, Dybala scored a brace in a 2–0 home win over Udinese in Serie A; his first goal of the match was also his 100th career goal. He made his 150th appearance in Serie A in a 0–0 away draw agaisnt S.P.A.L., on 17 March.

Dybala was sponsored by Nike until the first part of the 2016/2017 season. Lately during the season the player had some off-field problems with his former agent, whom Dybala sacked in favour of his brother Mariano who started taking care of his affairs. In the same season the player had a tense relationship with Puma, who had taken legal action against him. When at Palermo, Dybala’s entourage sold his image rights to a Maltese company for ten years. They reached an agreement with Puma but, shortly after Dybala switched agent, the Laguna Larga native wanted to revise the deal. So while the player was under contract with Puma, he used to play with blackout boots (instead of regular Puma’s boots) with his famous “Dybala mask” logo on them. The player refused to play with Puma boots and he used for many months total blackout Nike boots before he switched, in late 2017, to blackout Adidas boots. That was the signal that Dybala found an agreement and signed a sponsorship’s contract with Adidas that is actually on since January 2018.

Paulo Dybala was born in Laguna Larga, in Córdoba, Argentina. His grandfather, Bolesław Dybała, was from the village of Kraśniów in Poland; he fled from his country of birth to Argentina during World War II. Some of his grandfather’s family moved to Canada. Dybala’s family also has Italian origins through his maternal grandmother, named Da Messa, from the Province of Naples. Dybala officially obtained his Italian citizenship on 13 August 2012.

In November 2018 Paulo Dybala appealed for information about a boy in Iran who managed to leave a good impression on the Juventus attacker. In a video posted on social media, the boy is seen kicking a ball and centering it into a small window on the opposite building. Undoubtedly the boy was a fan of Dybala, as he is seen wearing the player’s top and imitating his mannerism of covering his face. Some weeks later Dybala found Amir, this is the name of the kid, and he invited him in Turin to meet him.

Due to his family heritage, Dybala was eligible to play for Poland and Italy, but expressly stated that he feels Argentine and had always dreamed of playing for Argentina.[59] Despite having sealed his decision of representing Argentina’s colours, Dybala maintains that he feels a strong connection to his grandfather’s country of origin, referring to it as “my family’s blood”. Dybala was called by the Argentina under-17 team to participate in the XVI Pan American Games, but ultimately did not take part in the competition. On 1 September 2016, Dybala was sent off in the first half of a 1–0 home win over Uruguay in a 2018 World Cup qualifier for a second bookable offence. On 13 June 2017, he set up a goal for Joaquín Correa in a 6–0 away friendly win over Singapore. In May 2018, Dybala was named in Argentina’s preliminary 35-man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia; later that month, he was included in Jorge Sampaoli’s final 23-man squad for the tournament. He made his World Cup debut in Argentina’s second group match on 21 June, coming on as a second-half substitute for Enzo Pérez in the 68th minute of an eventual 3–0 defeat to Croatia.[70] This was his only appearance in the tournament, as Argentina were eliminated in the round of 16 on 30 June, following a 4–3 defeat to France. He scored his first senior international goal on 20 November, in a 2–0 friendly home win over Mexico.
